The dream of a little boy to become a star came true.

Le-Roy Rechards better known as L, El or 3L is a young entrepreneur climbing his way to the top.

Last year during our popular music festival called Suripop, the idea of Slocabaia was born.

Slocabaia doesn't have a meaning. I asked him why not and he was like "I just wanted something different that would be memorable". This guy is a real tricky guy, lol.

Y'all are wondering what this guy is doing right. He creates designs to put on T-shirts.

Not only T-shirts but also hoodies can get an awesome twist.

Right now Le-Roy has six designs and all of them are popular.

He started with the Frsmng design when he got a comment about his fashion style and his response was "but I'm always fresh".

Two weeks ago Slocabaia, Modo-Misi and ADHD Studios partnered up and came up with a brilliant idea.

I chose four models to pose in his designs. We had a really great spot for the shoot.

Tori Oso is one of the oldest and well-known restaurants in Suriname. Just say the name and they will nod. I just had to style the models, show them how to pose and my friend Ernesto (ADHD Studio) had to do the magic with his camera.

Slocabaia in the future

"When someone starts with something, everyone wants to go with that flow. But I'm not like that, I know what I want and I'm working on it. I want my brand to be big for example the next Bjorn Borg or even bigger".
