Last week my friend invited me to join her for five weeks at yoga.

First thing that came into my mind was "she wants to kill me".

I thought about it and this came up; Most of us spend the majority of our time thinking about the past or the future or checking out completely into the land of cell phones and social media. Many of the benefits of yoga stem from the ability to unplug and focus on what’s going on in your body and in your life right now. Happiness can only be found here and now.

I decided to join her and I went there with a positive energy.

I did not know what to expect but when I saw the view I was in love.

It is the best view ever for yoga exercises.

Just imagine, you sitting along the river and hear the water and all of the beautiful noises.

Meditating

For me yoga is new, but we all did something and didn't know that it was also a yoga exercise.

We have to breath everyday to stay alive. And breathing is one of the first things you learn at yoga. Yoga Breathing or Pranayama, is the foundation of your yoga practice. It begins with deepening your breathing with the 3-part breath, then moves into more advanced breathing exercises such as Kapalabhati and the Alternate Nostril Breath. Pranayama also goes hand in hand with the Asanas. These two Yogic Principles together are considered as the highest form of purification and self-discipline, covering both mind and body.

Meditating

A healthy body is home to a healthy mind, and yoga is the path to understand your body and mind better. Practicing yoga on a regular basis brings focus, skill in action and emotional balance in life. It also calms and rejuvenates your mind, empowering you to deal with life in a much better way. Meditating for a couple of minutes also helps stay happy and focused.

Hope that it’s not only mental exercises that can connect us all but encouraging each other to do better each day!
