I wanted to do something for some of my loyal followers; my friend Awinash came up with an idea, so I figured it was time to do something about it. We chose for an Instagram giveaway. The reason why we started this giveaway is to help people get beyond their comfort zones, to boost their self-esteem by letting them live few moment of glitter and glamour in front of a camera, and most importantly, to accept themselves.
This campaign was initiated on the 27thof October and two random winners were selected on the 24thof November. Participants were given the opportunity to comment why they should be picked as a winner. The meaningfulness of the comments remembered us why we are doing what we are doing. Many expressed their insecurities and that this giveaway will eventually help them gain confidence.
On the 17thof December we had an incredible photo shoot at Houttuyn Wellness River Resort, although it was a rainy afternoon.
We couldn’t do this alone; we have entered into partnership with Millerson Cosmetics, Shado Fashion, Cynthia Jewelry, and Christel Nirk.
