Omg it feels like it’s been forever since I posted a blog. I have been busy with work and mini projects. I wanted to start the week with this amazing blog that I have been dying to share with you. You know how much I love supporting my local designers, and this one is to die for!
Finding and matching cute swimwear can be time consuming and a big investment. Not to mention the high-risk of online shopping for something that needs to fit just right.
For me it's difficult to find the perfect swimwear, but this year it went very smooth.
I came in touched with this young designer named Radhiya Joval. She offered to design a one-piece swimwear for me. I just had to tell her what I wanted and voila my own one-piece swimwear was designed. And please tell me this fabric doesn’t scream “TAKE ME TO THE BEACH” I am currently obsessing with this velvet one-piece.

And, yes people may have frown with their eyebrows about her choice of fabric, but velvet is the perfect fabric to accentuate your curves and guess what, you can also swim with it. I choose this color because it compliments and goes well with my skin complexion. It’s important to have a killer version of the swimwear that you never get tired of.

At least you don't have to choose for velvet like I did. You want your new swimwear to last longer than just one season so quality is key. Not only in terms of fabric (I hate it when the color gives off!) but also in terms of hardware, padding and fit. Always look for a bikini with a minimum of 80%-85% polyamide and make sure they offer an understandable size chart!
