Not everyone is #blessed with naturally thick, fluffy brows. The good news, you can fake it with brow lamination; a semi-permanent brow treatment that straightens, sets, and tints your brow hair leaving you with full, thick brows for up to eight weeks.
I couldn’t be happier to have paid my friends over at De Spatel a visit last week. My brows needed some extra TLC and it felt so good just to relax while Farielle worked on my brows. They came out amazing and it definitely gave me that extra pump of confidence I needed. It was great to catch up with my girl Farielle and laugh it up a bit, she has such great energy. I took some pictures during the brow lamination process. If you guys need some extra beauty hit up De Spatel. Other services include body waxing, laser hair remover and more!
What is Brow Lamination? “Brow lamination is a process of restructuring the brow hairs to keep them in a desired shape,” It’s the perfect treatment for anyone whose hairs are irregular in direction, have any gaps in between said hairs, or who want that groomed, brushed-up look.”
It’s all about natural, fluffy looking brows.
The Brow Lamination Process
1. Cleansing the brows and marking out the shape she wanted the brows to be. She then threaded any stray hairs to get a good initial shape.
2. She then fluffed up the brows using a tool and solution that coax the hairs into a straight, neat shape.
3. A straightening lotion is applied to the hairs and they are flattened under clear wrap and left for 30 minutes. This lotion opens the hair follicles, straightening and shaping the brows. After the allotted time, the lotion is removed.
4. Setting lotion is slicked on and left for eight minutes.
5. Hydrating oil serum is applied to nourish the hairs, as the first lotion is a little harsh.
6. Finally, you can tint your eyebrows if you want to or wax it to get the perfect eyebrow shape.
There is no real downtime, per se, but you may just get a little redness from the threading. After the treatment, you can't get your brows wet for 24 hours, so be sure to schedule your brow lamination so you can avoid showering/exercising/getting caught in a downpour afterwards.

How Long Does It Last?
Your brows will last like this for five to eight weeks, depending on your hairs.
Thick hair can last up to eight weeks en thin hair ten weeks.
Brow Lamination Aftercare
To keep the brows healthy and soft, you can use coconut oil and castor oil.
But my secret oil is Krappa. I use the Krappa by Gigi, as it helps boost growth: simply apply a coating of krappa oil using a Q-tip before your sleep.
