Good morning and happy Monday!!
After a pretty exhausting last few days, I’m excited to get back in my normal routine!
Today is all about work wears; dressing properly every day can be a challenge. But at some work places the dress code can be incredibly relaxed, because they don’t meet up with clients or go out in public you can get away with wearing almost everything.
Some outfits would be perfect for corporate environments and others are more appropriate for creative workplaces, but with the odd tweak here and there I’m sure there’ll be a ton of inspiration for you. What I’ve been seeing a lot lately is a rise in t-shirts emblazoned with our young local entrepreneurs brands
I have had this idea for a while to celebrate with a more playful work wears. Stop saving your t-shirt for running errands over the weekend. Go ahead; wear that tee to the office. You can totally take them out of the closet for a weekday 9 to 5.
It’s time to introduce a pop of color and cheerfulness as you step into work. There are a number of scientific studies that confirm wearing color can alter your mood. Choosing to wear a pop of color before walking out the door to work has been proven to lift your mood. Not only will it make you feel more confident and empowered, it has the power to enhance the energy of those around you too.

I’ve met this young entrepreneur who has offered me his designs. Jean-Luc Josafath started his career as a poet, but he also wanted to create a brand from his poet’s name. Koloku stands for luck, happiness.
He started two months ago with his brand and he didn’t expect that it would be this popular. Right now he’s designing T-shirts, Caps, Hoodies, and Jogging pants.
His message for other young entrepreneurs is; “You will have to work according to what you want but do not build on it.”
Dressing for work doesn’t always have to be so serious, and those outfits demonstrate that you can look smart and professional in a playful color palette.
I really hope this look inspires you to introduce more color into your work wear wardrobe, and hopefully you notice a difference in how you feel during the day as a result!
